The City of Memphis is embarking on an inclusive process of engagement for input on the implementation of improvements along Jefferson Avenue from Front Street to Cleveland Street.   

Better Jefferson will provide safety and mobility improvements for all users along this important corridor, whether walking, bicycling, accessing public transit, or driving. In addition to resurfacing and striping, proposed improvements include sidewalk and ADA upgrades; enhanced pedestrian crossings; traffic signal modernizations; bicycle facilities; traffic calming; and landscaping elements.
