The goal of the City of Durham’s Traffic Calming Project is to identify and implement improvements on neighborhood streets to lower the speed of traffic and enhance the experience of living and traveling on these streets for all users. The improvements will be identified and designed to address specific community concerns for the seven historically underserved neighborhoods labeled A through G.
The Interactive Map and Survey allows you to learn more about the seven historically underserved neighborhoods and collects your input in two ways:
1. Survey. Click on the Survey to answer four questions about your neighborhood.
2. Map Markers. Drag and drop icons to comment on the types of challenges you experience related to speeding, traffic, difficult crossings, or other comments. Zoom in to leave the most geographically accurate comment. Leave as many comments as you'd like!
